The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao is pleased to announce the upcoming Breakfast Talk | The Greater Bay Area: Big Opportunity, Complex Reality on Thursday, October 29, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at our office, in collaboration with Fidinam.

The Greater Bay Area (GBA) represents one of China’s most promising markets, but translating its massive scale into tangible business success requires navigating practical complexities. For Hong Kong-based entrepreneurs, key questions center on identifying relevant industrial clusters, choosing between entering directly or setting up a Mainland entity, and understanding how accessible tax incentives and subsidies truly are in practice.

This interactive panel talk looks beyond the headline figures to provide a grounded, practical perspective. The session will explore key GBA cities and development zones, evaluate market-entry structures and regulatory requirements, and address the real-world challenges of applying for government funding and incentives.

Designed for open and engaging networking without formal agendas or rigid structures, the evening brings together leading figures from Hong Kong's international business community over tapas and drinks.
