The Italian Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite you to the ICC Coffee & Chat: Would ChatGPT Recommend Your Business? - How AI is deciding who gets found in Hong Kong, on Tuesday, September 22, from 9:00 to 10:00 am at the Italian Chamber of Commerce office. The session will be led by Mauro Berno, Founder & CEO of Foundcoo.
Buyers no longer just search — they ask. Tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity now answer questions such as "best supplier in Hong Kong" with a single recommendation, often before a buyer ever visits a website. Building on the research Foundcoo published in the ICC Business Report ("From Search Engines to Answer Engines"), this session looks at what that shift means for member businesses: 94% of B2B buyers now use AI tools during purchasing, yet while 99.3% of Hong Kong businesses are online, only 57% have a web presence AI can actually find and cite.
The session is built around an open discussion — with entry points for both consumer-facing brands and B2B/export businesses — and closes with four practical actions members can take the same week to check and improve their own AI visibility.
Attendees will leave knowing whether AI tools mention their business today, what sources AI actually draws recommendations from, and how to be cited rather than just ranked.
