The 2023 GBA Roadshow represents the evolution of an exciting journey that IMI CIB is running in collaboration with Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center. The first step dates back in 2017 with an initiative named “Start-it Asia” - catered for innovative Italian start-ups - and continued with other initiatives called “Greater Bay Area Innovation Road”, targeting Tech SMEs in growth stage, and “The 2019 Elite GBA Roadshow”, targeting companies in the pre-IPO or Capital Market stage. 

The idea behind the initiative is to create a soft-landing platform into the Asian market for dynamic companies that are willing to embrace innovation and technology as key enablers to achieve growth.

This Roadshow, focusing on new technologies in the fields of AgriTech, Smart Mobility, Energy and PharmaTech with a broader view on ESG, offers both Open Innovation and business opportunities for Intesa Sanpaolo company customers and prospects, creating at the same time synergies with Asian Corporates, Investors (i.e. VC, PE, Family Offices) and local Institutions.

The companies will be chosen across Italian Tech SMEs in growth stage and will participate to a four-day program in Hong Kong & Shenzhen (Greater Bay Area) to explore and capture new market opportunities.
