MOSCHINO ASIA PACIFIC LIMITED
Founded in 1983 by designer Franco Moschino and produced through a licensing agreement with Aeffe Fashion Group, the Italian fashion house Moschino is known for its audacious, satirical, and ironic designs that challenge conventions and incorporate elements of surrealism. Since its inception, the brand quickly gained acclaim, captivating fashion enthusiasts worldwide. After Franco’s passing in 1994, Rossella Jardini, a trusted collaborator since 1981, assumed the reins of the fashion house. Jardini expertly guided Moschino for an impressive two-decade tenure, ensuring its continued success.
In 1999, Moschino became part of the Aeffe fashion Group, founded by Alberta and Massimo Ferretti. This strategic acquisition enabled the brand to expand its offerings, encompassing accessories, footwear, fragrances, and eyewear. The Aeffe fashion Group’s listing on the STARS segment of Borsa Italiana in 2007 solidified its position as a significant industry player. In 2013, designer Jeremy Scott took on the role of creative director, bringing vibrant energy and a fresh wave of creativity to Moschino. Scott’s irreverent collections, which incorporated elements of pop culture, garnered widespread attention and admiration within the fashion world. As of March 2023, Jeremy Scott announced that he was stepping down from the role as creative director. January 2024 marks the start of Adrian Appiolaza’s tenure as creative director. His first collection is set to debut for Fall/Winter 2024 during February’s 2024 Milan Fashion Week.
Today, Moschino stands as a prominent and respected name in the industry. It operates through an extensive network of offices and flagship stores in prestigious fashion capitals like Milan, Paris, London, New York, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Seoul and other renowned global cities.
