Sustainable Development in Food & Beverage

On Wednesday, October 18, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao, in collaboration with the Green & Circular Economy Committee, hosted the second episode of the Circular Economy Talks Series (CE Talks) at Generali LIFE (HONG KONG) LIMITED (VIP Centre).

The CE Talks aim to raise awareness about the transition to a Circular Economy (CE), which supports the reduction of carbon emissions and the improvement of environmental conditions. The panel discussion focused on sustainable practices implemented by the Food & Beverage (F&B) Industry and was moderated by Mr. Alessandro Bisagni, Founder & President of BEE Incorporations. The esteemed speakers shared their experiences and valuable insights on the journey towards sustainability in F&B and packaging. They also discussed essential factors for achieving a circular economy within the F&B sector.

We would like to express our gratitude to Carla Martinesi, CEO & Founder of Chomp; Karen Pong, Sustainable Development Manager at Cathay Pacific Airways Limited; Maria Leung, General Manager of Closed Loop; and Giorgio Ciardella, General Manager, CTO, and Co-Founder of Farzati S.p.A.

The event concluded with a Q&A and networking session, providing us with the opportunity to delve deeper into the world of sustainability.

We extend our heartfelt thanks also to Generali Hong Kong, our venue partner, for their invaluable contribution in making this event a success.
