Cooking Class - The Art of Pasta Making

On Wednesday, November 15, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Macao hosted a unique and delightful event: Cooking Class: The Art of Pasta Making at Boffi|De Padova Studio. This exceptional Cooking Class, supported by the Consulate General of Italy in Hong Kong and part of ITALIA on Stage, took place during the Week of the Italian Cuisine around the World and revealed the secrets behind the Italian classic dish of "Trofie al Pesto".

This year's Cooking Class was led by the Renowned Chef Mr. Mario Marini and Chef Ms. Elena Zeng from ALMA, where participants learned and explored the intricacies of preparing the original pasta, discovering the essential ingredients, mastering the preparation techniques, and comprehending the cooking process to create the pasta. The chefs expertly demonstrated the preparation of trofie pasta and the complementary Pesto sauce, a flawless Italian dish from Liguria, highlighting their harmonious combination.

The evening concluded with a delightful tasting of the trofie al pesto dish, which the participants had prepared themselves.
